Preparation and Storage
STEM121 is generated from cell culture supernatants in serum-free conditions and is purified by Protein A chromatography. The antibody is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) containing 0.02% sodium azide. Store at 2-8°C.
STEM121 has been extensively used to detect the engraftment, migration and differentiation of human cells transplanted into mice and rats. The antibody can be used to quantify the location and number of engrafted cells and the morphology of engrafted cells can be determined by immunohistochemistry using STEM121 (typically using a 1:1000 dilution) and immunofluorescence (typically using a 1:500 dilution). It is recommended that the investigator determine optimal conditions for use of STEM121 in their own experiments.
